We built Sovarity because the market for EU-sovereign data infrastructure was empty. That didn't seem right.
Why Sovarity exists
Businesses that take their data seriously keep hitting the same wall: the tooling they need is delivered by parties outside Europe. Technically it works. Legally it doesn't.
Clients told us about audits that stalled on sub-processor lists. About DPAs that couldn't be signed. About data that was nominally in Amsterdam but in practice routed through Virginia. The answer was always the same: build your own team, your own servers, your own pipeline.
That isn't a solution. It's a detour. We decided to build what didn't exist: a fully managed, EU-sovereign data platform you can take as a service. No engineering team required. No legal uncertainty.
We stand for sovereignty as the default, not a premium option. For open formats and monthly cancellation. For one party that is accountable and reachable when it matters.

Who is GijzenDMA?
GijzenDMA B.V. is a Dutch data consultancy based in Maastricht, founded in 2019. We build data platforms for mid-sized organisations in logistics, manufacturing, healthcare and finance; companies that take data seriously, but don't want or can't sustain an internal platform team. Sovarity is our integrated product offering: the same platform we build for clients, now as a managed service.
